Although 'Reserved' is driven by acoustic guitars and vocals, it is an amalgamation of influences and genres that it results from. Its influences range from Metallica to McLachlan to Cohen. The songs address a range of issues, some of which may be deemed 'sensitive/dark'. However, there are also a few rays of 'light' inside Room 1289 for the benefit of its darkened corners.

The EP was written, performed, recorded and mixed entirely by Dave.
